The mission was clear: launch "bleu", a new OTT platform to revolutionize our company's digital presence. My first task was building its identity from the ground up. I dove into typeface research, seeking fonts that were structured, bold, and sturdy to reflect our objective. With several promising options, I began the creative exploration phase. This involved pairing the typography with complementary shapes and forms, experimenting with different compositions to find the visual foundation for what would become our flagship streaming service.
Once the final logo received the green light, it was time to bring it to life with motion. Building on the chosen "wifi-esque" theme, my animation concept was to create the feeling of a signal emitting worldwide. For a cinematic touch, I drew inspiration from the iconic and nostalgic intros of classic movie studios. The goal was to merge this modern, signal-based idea with a timeless sense of grandeur, crafting a powerful and memorable brand animation for our new OTT platform.
The final step was the official reveal. I collaborated with a small, agile team to develop compelling copy that would capture the platform's essence. From there, I took the lead on producing all necessary graphics for the final video. This piece served as the grand reveal for bleu our new OTT platform, generating excitement by highlighting our premiere movie catalog and welcoming viewers to their new destination for entertainment.
